Kimberlee is a family portraiture photographer who covers all ages and key moments in a families life. Not only does she do family portraiture, maternity, newborns she even documents people in labour and giving birth. Her birth related work is so beautiful, some labour photography can be invasive and graphic, but hers is the perfect balance. I am mainly looking at her family portraiture work out on location at the moment as thats what I plan on shooting. Through doing research and flicking through pinterest I have seen a lot of photos of children on their parents shoulders and I really like it. I think putting the child on the parents shoulders shows a happy trustworthy bond between them and kids usually find it quite fun so we are more likely to get a smile out of them. It is also an easy way to get the child to keep still and pose without them realising. I really like the forest setting for these kind of shoots as it creates the idea that they are on a little family adventure.
