Clint Bargen is a photographer who focuses on weddings and families. I came across his work when I was putting together a mood board and getting pose ideas for family portraiture on location. I really like his work as hes managed to capture the true happiness on the family members faces. I feel that this particular shoot has a very autumnal and winter feel to it as he allows the backgrounds to appear quite dark and then the family members are bright and well lit and really stand out from the background. I do not know whether he shoots with lighting or just uses natural light. He could easily get that dark background but well lit models by positioning them in an open break where there are less trees allowing more light to fall down on them and then standing them far away from the trees behind them to allow the light to fall out. I really like the poses of the parents holding the children as it shows how strong their bonds are.
